What if I've lost all my natural teeth?
If you have no natural teeth left from tooth decay, injury, or periodontal disease, complete dentures can replace your missing teeth. This will not only benefit your health but your appearance. Without support from the denture a personal can look older than they are because the facial muscles are sagging.
What do new dentures feel like?

At first, new dentures can feel a bit awkward but this only lasts a few weeks until you get used to them. Dentures may feel loose at first until the muscles of your tongue and cheek learn to keep them in place.

will i look different with dentures?

We do our best to make sure your dentures resemble your natural teeth so there will be little noticeable change in your appearance. There is a chance you’ll look better! 

Can I eat with Dentures?
The short answer is yes but it will take a little practice. When you first get your dentures you’ll start by eating softer foods cut into smaller pieces. You’ll want to chew slowly using both sides of your mouth at the same time to prevent the dentures from tipping. Eventually you’ll return to your regular diet when you become accustomed to chewing your food with both sides of your mouth. You’ll want to be careful with hard or hot foods.
will dentures make me speak differently?

Pronouncing certain words may require practice. Reading out loud and repeating troublesome words will help. If your dentures “click” while you’re talking, speak more slowly. If problems persists give us a call.

how do i care for my dentures?

Just like you did with your natural teeth you’ll want to brush your dentures daily to remove food deposits and plaque. Your dentures are quite delicate so get in the habit of standing over a folded towel or a basin of water when handling them because dropping them, even just a few inches, may cause them to break.
